ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount men's lacrosse dropped its final non-conference contest of the 2026 season, falling 13-9 to Mary Washington on Saturday afternoon at Long Bridge Park. The Saints came out firing early, netting four first-quarter goals to take a 4-2 lead behind a balanced offensive attack. Marymount continued to battle throughout the contest, including tying the game at 6-6 late in the second quarter, but a strong push from Mary Washington in the middle frames proved to be the difference as the Eagles pulled away in the second half.
NOTABLE
- Santino Rossitto led the Saints with a five-point performance, totaling three goals and two assists.
- Ian Fructuoso added four points with two goals and two assists, while ripping a team-high 12 shots to pace the offense.
- James Elko contributed two goals and one assist, adding a caused turnover on the defensive end.
- William Cate finished with two goals on two shots, capitalizing on his opportunities.
- Wyatt Labonte added an assist to round out the scoring effort.
- Winston Horshaw II scooped up a game-high nine ground balls, continuing to control possession for the Saints.
- Defensively, Connor Howard and Chris Lasky each caused two turnovers, while Isaac Armlin, Matthew Mulkins, and Steven Noh added one apiece.
- In goal, Connor Howard made 13 saves.
