WLAX: Saints Fall to Meredith in Midweek Matchup

ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount women's lacrosse fell to Meredith, 20-8, on Wednesday afternoon at Long Bridge Park in non-conference action.

NOTABLE

  • Carmella Garcia led the Saints' offense with a hat trick, adding two ground balls and six draw controls.
  • Adrina Cantarelli and Tess Valentino each finished with two goals, with both converting on free-position chances.
  • Kaylee Heath added a goal and picked up two ground balls.
  • Mackenzie Morrissette paced the offense with four assists, factoring into half of Marymount's scoring plays.
  • In goal, Josephine Ives recorded nine saves in relief to anchor the defensive effort.
  • The Saints found success scoring three man-up goals and going 2-for-3 on free-position attempts.
