Sweet Briar, Va. -- Marymount's softball took to the road this Sunday after a grand victory over Randolph Macon yesterday. The Sunday double header ended in a split for the Saints, falling to Sweet Briar in game one while dominating in game two.
SWEET BRIAR 8 - MARYMOUNT 3
- Gracie Himmelman delivered the biggest swing of the day for Marymount, going 2-for-4 with a team-high 2 RBIs, consistently putting pressure on the defense and driving in key runs when opportunities appeared.
- Ashleigh Mannion sparked the offense near the top of the lineup, finishing 2-for-3 with a run scored, setting the tone with disciplined at-bats and getting on base at a high clip.
- Mady Archer made the most of limited chances, posting 1 hit, 1 RBI, and a walk in just 2 at-bats, showing patience at the plate and contributing to run production.
- Samantha Richtol chipped in with 1 hit and 1 run scored, helping keep innings alive and applying steady offensive pressure.
- Kaylee Atkins also crossed the plate for Marymount, recording 1 hit and 1 run, contributing to the teams overall offensive output.

- Haylee Carpenter matched that output with 2 hits, 2 runs, and 2 RBIs, showing depth in the lineup and keeping pressure on the defense from top to bottom.
