FLAG: Coach Rivera Releases 2026 Schedule

2/3/2026 1:47:00 PM

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount flag football head coach Mike Rivera announced the Saints' 2026 schedule, which features the most robust slate in program history.

Marymount will play 22 regular-season games, followed by appearances in the Atlantic East Conference Tournament and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament.

The Saints open the season at Immaculata University for a tri-match against Atlantic East opponents Immaculata and Holy Family. Marymount will face the host Mighty Macs at 3 p.m. before closing the day against Holy Family at 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 11, marks a marquee date as the Saints travel to Division I Mercyhurst University for a four-game day. Marymount will face the host Lakers and Allegheny College twice each, beginning at 8:30 a.m., in ECAC competition.

Conference play resumes with a trip to Chestnut Hill College, one of the Atlantic East's newest affiliate members, where Marymount will take on the Griffins and Marywood University starting at 12:30 p.m.

Marymount's home opener is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, when the Saints host Penn State Schuylkill and Eastern University beginning at 2 p.m.

The Saints return to the road Wednesday, March 25, visiting Neumann University to face the Knights at 4 p.m. and Centenary at 5:30 p.m.

Marymount then hosts back-to-back competition dates, beginning Sunday, March 29, against Holy Family and Immaculata at Bishop O'Connell High School. The Saints follow up Thursday, April 2, hosting Marywood and Chestnut Hill College at Long Bridge Park starting at 12:30 p.m.

The regular season concludes with three road dates. Marymount returns to Neumann on Saturday, April 11, to face the Knights at 4 p.m. and Centenary at 5:30 p.m. The Saints then travel to Division I Mount St. Mary's on Sunday, April 12, to play the host Mountaineers at 1:30 p.m. and Allegheny College at 3 p.m. Marymount closes the regular season Saturday, April 18, at Penn State Schuylkill, facing Eastern at 12:30 p.m. before taking on the host Lions at 2 p.m.

The Atlantic East Conference Tournament will take place the week of April 19, with first-round games Tuesday, April 21. The championship is scheduled for either Saturday, April 25, or Sunday, April 26, depending on the host site.

Marymount will conclude the season at the ECAC Tournament, held Friday, May 1, through Sunday, May 3.

Marymount is coming off of their second-straight Atlantic East Conference Title and looks to continue that momentum, while making a name in the newly-formed ECAC.
