ARLINGTON, Va. — Marymount men's lacrosse came up short in its home opener on Saturday afternoon, falling 11-8 to Bridgewater in a back-and-forth contest at Long Bridge Park.Â

- Kanye Otto was the first Saint to find the back of the net to spark the energy during today's match.
- Drew Bedard led the Saints' offense with four goals, including a pair during a strong second-quarter surge.
- Santino Rossitto tallied one goal and one assist, while Ian Fructuoso matched the effort with a goal and an assist of his own.
- William Cate added a point after scoring a late goal at the end of the third quarter.
- Winston Horshaw II dominated at the face off X, winning 12 of 16 draws and collecting seven ground balls to fuel possession for the Saints
- The Saints controlled the ground game with 37 ground balls compared to Bridgewater's 25.
