BALTIMORE, Md. -- Marymount baseball took on #3 Johns Hopkins on Tuesday in a match up with nationally-recognized programs.
Falling by a final score of 10-2, the Saints now sit at 8-2 overall on the season ahead of Wednesday's home contest against Bridgewater.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Saints fell in a quick hole as the Blue Jays scored twice in the bottom of the first inning.
- Joshmar Carbonell put the Saints on the board first in the top of the third with a solo shot, moving the score to 2-1 in favor of JHU.
- Through the middle innings, Johns Hopkins extended their lead to 10-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning.
- Andrew Schaeb looked to spark some offense, punching an RBI double in the top of the ninth, but that proved to not be enough as Marymount would ultimately fall 10-2.
- Jonathan McMath notched a pair of hits in the loss with a walk.
- Jack McCarthy had two hits with a double.
- Ketz Murray threw 3.0 innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts.

- The Saints will be back in action tomorrow evening at Capital One Park, taking on Bridgewater College at 4 PM.
