Track and Field Stuns With Seven First Place Wins

Galloway, N.J -- The Saint's track and field team traveled to New Jersey to compete in the Osprey Open event this weekend, where they were able to claim multiple top 10 placings and six first place victories. 

NOTABLE RESULTS
  • Bri Weirsky was able to run to 6th place in the women's 10000 meter run with a final time of 44:29.65.
  • Isabella Rivera threw herself into 3rd place with a women hammer throw distance of 38.38m.
  • Shayla Wynder was not far behind her teammate Rivera, throwing a 39.30m distance and placing 5th.
  • Deziree Conklin-Boone claimed first place in two events, the women's 100m (16.01) and 400m hurdles (1:07.23). 
  • Abby Hughes placed top 10 in women's javelin throw of 26.75m, landing her 9th.
  • Reuben McEachern ran into first place in the men's 110m hurdles, with a time of 57.80.
  • Samuel Struggs was the Saint's top placer in men's triple jump, covering a distance of 13.34m.
  • Emerson Aber was able to run to 10th place with a time of 13.63 in the women's 100m dash and sixth place in the 200m dash.
  • Ilana Hawkins claimed first place in the women's 400m dash with a final time of 57.84.
  • Marcone Pessoa was able to claim 4th place in the men's 100m dash with a time of 11.73.
  • Bryan Bivens claimed second in the mens 110m hurdle race, with a finishing time of 17.03
  • Marymount's men's 4x100m claimed first place, with runners Malachi Williams, Samuel Struggs, Cadyn Johnson,and Reuben McEachern.
  • Marcone Passoa jumped into first place in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.37m.
