ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount women's lacrosse had a historic day at Long Bridge Park.
Not only winning big over Mount Holyoke, 23-3, two Saints rewrote the record book as
Arayla Garcia and
Riley Love each put themselves at the top of individual career records.

- Love is now the all-time points leader in Marymount women's lacrosse history.
- Garcia now sits at the top of career draw controls for Marymount women's lacrosse history.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Saints opened up the day with back-to-back goals out of the stick of Jillian Blair to get the offense moving in what would be a 15-0 run.
- Bailey Gehler found Tess Valentino with the open look to finish the first quarter up 8-0.
- Natalia Ortiz scored three-straight in a seven-goal second quarter to give Marymount a 15-0 lead heading into the second half of action.
- In the midst of all the excitement in the first half, Love secured her record-breaking assist with 5:04 left in the half.
- After Garcia's historic draw in the third quarter of play, the Saints continued to sink goals in decisive fashion.
- Carmella Garcia scored the first goal of the fourth-and-final quarter to keep the Saints on track.
- At the 10:49 mark, Mackenzie Morrissette gave a clean pass to Garcia to earn the assist.
- Emily Prensky finished up the day with the final goal for Marymount, securing the final score of 23-3.
- Garcia ended the day with 10 total draws, adding three goals.
- Gehler had a balanced day, scoring two goals and adding an assist for three points alongside five draw controls, a caused turnover, and a ground ball.
- Abby Dunn caused a turnover and picked up a ground ball, picking up three draw controls.
- Blair had four goals and an assist, adding two caused turnovers and two ground balls.
- Peyton Samson caused a turnover while picking up a ground ball.
