ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Marymount men's volleyball began their weekend trek across New York on Thursday evening, taking on Elmira College Thursday evening.
Falling in five sets, the Saints record now sits at 4-5 on the young season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Diego Peña was the standout for the Saints, powering 20 kills with a .594 hitting percentage, adding five digs and three assists.
- Esteban Jauregui hit .268, totaling 11 kills in the match, with seven digs and a pair of aces. He added two solo blocks.
- Luke Pogue had four block solos in the tight loss with 10 kills and a .389 hitting percentage.
- Ethan Li continues to impress, totaling 10 kills in the match with a .273 clip and six digs.
- Mason Moore put up nine kills with two block assists and digs.
- Carter Gresham posted a career-high 55 assists in the match with eight digs.
- Carlos Morales-Pagan had a team-high nine digs for the Saints.
UP NEXT
- The Saints will continue their time in New York tomorrow at St. John Fisher University.
- They will play the host team at 3 PM before finishing the day against Endicott at 5 PM.
