Arlington, Va. -- Marymount men's volleyball finished their Friday with a 3-0 sweep win against Drew University. In 3 sets, the Saints now stand 2-0 in their conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Marymount dominated all three sets, with their opponent never reaching 20 points.
• The Saints were able to claim 34 kills, Diego Pena led the team with 10.
• Sinking eight aces, Marymount's team leaders for serving were Mason Moore and Luke Pogue, both with two.
• Mason Moore continued to lead the game with five blocks, contributing to the team's overall eight. 
• With a total of 25 team assists, Carter Gresham came forward with 17 personal assists. 
• Marymount were winners since set one, gained the first point, and never lost their lead. 
• A kill by Esteban Jauregui gave the Saints their largest lead of the set, 19-10, until their final set point.
• Luke Pogue closed out the first set with a kill, with the scoreboard reading 25-15 for the Saints.
• Set number two opened up with a kill by Esteban Jauregui.
• A service ace by Diego Pena gave Marymount a 12-4 lead in set two.
• The second set closed out with a service error from Drew University, which gave the Saints a score of 25-14.
• In a similar fashion to sets one and two, Marymount claimed the first point of set three.
• They maintained their lead in the third set.
• A kill by Luke Pogue closed out the final set, with the scoreboard reading 25-17 for the Saints.
• The Saints finished out the night with a clean 3-0 sweep over Drew University.
