Men's Volleyball Sweeps The Floor With Wilkes

Arlington, Va. -- Marymount men's volleyball finishes their Saturday with a sweep against Wilkes, winning all three sets. With the win, the Saints open their CVC play 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Marymount as a team dominated over Wilkes in points (44), kills (37), aces (5), assists (34), and digs (27).
  • Diego Peña recorded a stellar 15 kills this match, with teammate Jonathan Pickering getting seven kills. 
  • Ethan Frank earned two aces, while teammates Luke Pogue and Evan Cao both earned one. 
  • When it came to assists, Evan Cao provided 26 assists throughout the three sets. 
  • The team leader in digs was Ethan Li with seven.
  • Marymount's Evan Cao also claimed six digs against Wilkes.  
  • The first set was dominated by Marymount, with the Saints keeping the lead and finishing set one, 25-18.
  • Marymount cut it close in set two, winning 25-23. 
  • Wilkes claimed their first match lead in set three, but ultimately fell to the Saints 25-21.
  • This marks the Saints fourth sweep of the season.
