ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount men's soccer standouts
Jefferson Lopez Coreas and
Erick Shoetter-Rojas were named members of the United Soccer Coaches All-Region V Teams, announced by the organization this week.
The awards come at the end of strong seasons from the sophomore and junior, with Lopez Coreas garnering Second Team, Shoetter-Rojas Fourth Team.
Lopez Coreas, fresh off his second-straight Atlantic East First Team All-Conference campaign, stood out for the Saints across the year as a concentrated piece of the attack.Â
Scoring 17 goals on the season with three assists, the former AEC Rookie of the Year gathered 37 total points. During the season, he tied the record for points in a single game with seven against Pratt.
This is the first All-Region V honor for the sophomore.Â
Shoetter-Rojas was named to the Fourth Team for the second-straight year, after earning it as a sophomore in 2024.Â
The two-time AEC First Team All-Conference recipient scored 10 goals on the year for the Saints, picking up 20 total points with a shot on goal percentage of 48%.Â
In the Atlantic East Semifinals at Marywood University, the junior scored a hat trick, the first time a Marymount men's soccer player has secured the feat.
The two were steady presences on the pitch for Marymount, ultimately helping the Saints fight their way back to the Atlantic East Championship.
