NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Marymount women's basketball took on Christopher Newport University this Tuesday evening. Staring off their December play, the Saints fell short against the Captains with a final score of 89-63.
The loss puts the Saints at a record of 2-4.
NOTABLE
- Catie Kolwey dominated with a double-double, offensively landing 19 points and defensively earning 11 rebounds.
- On top of points and rebounds, Kolwey also led the Saints in blocks with two, alongside her teammate Crystal Wright.
- Cara Vollmer set herself apart outside of the arch, making four three-pointers.
- Kaylah Barr was the Saints play maker, responsible for five assists.
UP NEXT
The Saints return home this Saturday for a face off against Salisbury University. Tip off is set for 1:00 and this game will serve as the Pablo Coto Recognition game.
