HADDONFIELD, N.J. -- Two Saints earn AEC weekly awards, announced by the conference office.
Kaylah Barr - Women's Basketball Player of the WeekÂ
Sophomore guard Kaylah Barr delivered one of the most commanding offensive performances in the conference this week.
Barr powered the Saints with a game-high 33 points, showcasing efficiency by shooting 10-of-21 from the floor and attacking the rim to earn 16 trips to the free-throw line, where she converted 11. Her scoring output marked one of the top single-game performances of the young season across the conference.
Beyond her scoring, Barr continued to impact the game. She pulled down six rebounds and added two assists to help facilitate the offense. Defensively, she contributed two steals and a block, helping set the tone on that end of the floor and anchoring a Marymount effort that held firm in the final minutes.
Luke Claudy - Men's Swimmer of the Week
Junior Luke Claudy had a stellar meet on Saturday to help the Saints win their home match up against AEC opponents Gallaudet and St. Mary's (Md.)
Winning the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.61, a conference-best time, Claudy went on to win the 100 freestyle with a finish of 47.58, another conference-best time.
Adding to his strong day, he was the anchor in the 200 medley relay team that took the top spot, alongside the 200 free relay as the lead.
