Noah Popp - Men's Swimmer of the Week
First-year Noah Popp showed out at the Patriot Invitational last week, going head-to-head with Division I opponents and putting together one of the strongest meets of his young career.
He opened the weekend by clocking a 1:44.23 in the 200-yard freestyle, setting a new Marymount program record. Later in the meet, he continued to raise the bar. Hitting an Atlantic East Conference record in the 200 backstroke finals with a time of 1:53.16, winning his heat, and placing 17th overall. Popp also made the cut in the 100-yard backstroke, securing 22nd overall with a 52.28 and proving his consistency across events.
Capping off the weekend, Popp helped power the 400 freestyle relay team to a new Marymount program and Atlantic East record, clocking in at 3:06.35 and solidifying an all-around standout performance.
