VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Marymount women's basketball put together a strong second-half push, but the Saints ultimately fell, 68–54, on Saturday evening at TowneBank Arena. Marymount outscored Virginia Wesleyan 21–18 in the third quarter and shot an efficient 46% from the floor, but a challenging second period created a gap the Saints could not overcome.Â

- Kaylah Barr led the Saints with 14 points, shooting 6-for-11 from the field while adding two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
- Cara Vollmer reached double figures with 10 points, knocking down a three and logging three rebounds and two assists.
- Crystal Wright delivered one of her strongest performances to date, posting 8 points and a team high of 6 rebounds.
- Elsa Meysselle matched Wright on the boards with six rebounds of her own while adding six points, a block, and an assist.
- Aaliyah Thrash provided a spark off the bench, going 3-for-3 from the floor for 8 points, including two made threes.
- Catie Kolwey anchored the paint with nine rebounds while contributing four points and two steals.
- Marymount shot 46% from the field, including a strong 61.5% in the third quarter, and scored 34 points in the paint.
