BALTIMORE, Md. -- Marymount women's volleyball dropped a five-set barn burner against Susquehanna to kick off their stint at Johns Hopkins this weekend.

The Saints now sit at 1-8 on the season.

NOTABLE

• Emily Genau led the offense with 16 kills, hitting an impressive .225 in the tight loss, adding eight digs for 18.0 total points.
• Natalie Bialecki put up 44 assists in the match with 15 digs and four kills to add to her line.
• Katee Stromberg put up impressive numbers in the defensive effort, having four block assists and a solo block with three digs.
• Maya Harris added 14 kills and two block assists with five digs in the loss for 15.0 total points.
• Ava Humphries (21) and Eliza Freeman (20) were the leaders in digs for the Saints.
• Sabrina Schoeberlein added 14 kills, hitting at a .273 clip, in the losing effort for 13.0 points.
