Selinsgrove, PA– Marymount women's soccer concedes a loss on the road at Susquehanna

This brings the Saints record to 1-3-1 with no losses conceded at home.  

NOTABLE

• Alvarado, Nicole took an aggressive stance to start the game, taking the first shot of the game in the 8^th minute, followed by the first goal of the game in the 16^th minute. The goal was assisted by Tonic, Marissa.
• Morris, Minnie pushed the Hawks' defense with an attempt on goal in the 61^st minute.
• Carrillo-Torres, Daniela made the last attempt at goal for the Saints with a shot in the 73^rd minute of the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Marymount bested the Hawks' defense to start the game with the first shot and first goal of the match.
• The Saints defense matched the attacks of the Hawks by combating every attempt at goal and refusing any opportunities at goal.
• Marymount was unable to continue the momentum from the early goal and were unable to land anymore successful goal attempts despite the efforts made by both Morris and Carrillo-Torres to gain more goals.
• The Hawks were able to make three goals against the Saints' defense bringing an end to the game without the Saints scoring in the second half. This ended the game at a 1-3 score in favor of Susquehanna.

UP NEXT

• Marymount will be on the road again on Saturday, Sept. 14^th, to compete against Lynchburg, Va. / Shellenberger Field with a 2pm start time.
• The Saints' next home appearance will be on Monday, Sept. 16^th at Long Bridge Park with a 3pm start time against Catholic University.
