VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Marymount women's volleyball dropped a pair of matches against strong opposition on Saturday morning to round out their stint at Virginia Wesleyan, taking the ODAC preseason favorites down to five sets.
After the weekend, the Saints sit at 1-3 on the young year.

- Genau again led the offensive charge in the second match of the day with seven kills with nine digs.
- Wolf and Elizabeth Stackpole each notched six digs, with Stackpole hitting at a .231 clip.
- Maya Harris and Sabrina Schoeberlein each posted five kills in the losing affair.
- Bialecki added 21 assists in the second match.
- Genau and Freeman each put up nine digs.

- The Saints will be at home for their next slate of matches.
- This upcoming Friday, Sept. 6, the Saints will play Schreiner at 1:30 PM and CNU at 6:30 PM.
