ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount women's lacrosse head coach
Kate Athing earned her 100th career win at the helm of the Saints program on Saturday afternoon in front of their home crowd, taking down the Pacers of Marywood by a final tally of 19-7.
The Saints move to second place in the AEC, now sitting at 4-1 in conference play.
NOTABLE
- Tess Valentino led the Saints with six goals, a ground ball, and a caused turnover.
- Kaylee Heath led the way with four goals and an assist, good for five points, in the win.
- Riley Love continued to facilitate the offense, notching seven total assists alongside two ground balls and a caused turnover.
- Ella Baker had three goals with a draw control.
- Bailey Gehler notched three goals on the afternoon with four ground balls, two caused turnovers, and four draw controls.
- Abby Dunn collected eight total draw controls on the day with three ground balls and a caused turnover.
- Taylor Chepren put up three points with a goal and two assists.Â
- Peyton Samson had three ground balls and a caused turnover.
- Natalia Ortiz and Jillian Blair each notched a goal.
- Hannah Smith earned her eighth win in the goal with six total saves.
