HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Marymount men's volleyball dropped its first conference match of the season on Friday night at Juniata, 3-0. The Saints fall to 19-6, 5-1 in CVC action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Juniata took the first set by a 25-18 score. The Saints fought to within 21-18 before Juniata scored the final four points.
- The Saints got a little closer in set two, falling by a 25-21 margin. It was back-and-forth the whole way before Juniata scored four of the final five points to clinch the win.
- The Eagles closed out the match strong with a 25-10 victory in the final set. Juniata jumped out to a 7-1 lead and never looked back.
- Devon Robinson led the Saints with six kills and added two digs.
- Diego Pena had four kills, nine assists, and a team-high five digs.
- Luke Pogue had four total blocks to go along with four kills.
UP NEXT
- Marymount will close out its road trip at Elizabethtown on Saturday at 1 PM.
- The Saints return to Converse Family Fieldhouse on Wednesday to take on No. 2 Southern Virginia to close out CVC action.
