ARLINGTON, VA - Marymount Men's volleyball faced Thiel College on Friday evening at Converse Family Fieldhouse. In a quick match against the Tomcats, the Saints claimed the victory 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-17).

NOTABLE

• Diego Pena totaled 26 assists and 3 service aces while also leading the team defensively with 7 digs.
• Devon Robinson ruled the net with 13 kills. Esteban Jauregui close behind with 10.
• Mason Moore put up 2 blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Saints took control over the Tomcats quickly into the first frame. Notable plays included strong assists from Diego Pena and kills from Luke Morris and Devon Robinson. Diego Pena also contributed with 2 strong service aces in this set. The Saints claimed it with a score of 25-19 over the Tomcats.
• Going into the second set, Marymount had a 5 point consecutive run with help from 2 service aces from Luke Morris and a kill by Devon Robinson. Darvin Guan protected the back row from Thiel's aggressive swings. They took the 2nd set quickly with a score of 25-15. 
• Continuing their momentum in the third frame, the Saints went on another consecutive run with service aces from Mason Moore. In a good position at 22-16, the Saints locked down their ninth straight win with another service ace, this one from Evan Cao.
