ASTON, PA - Marymount men's volleyball faced Neumann University and Saint Elizabeth University on the road today. In a clean sweep, the Saints claimed two more wins, putting them at 11-0, the best start in Marymount men's volleyball history. 

NOTABLE

• Luke Morris led the team with a total of 19 kills for the two matches. He also contributed with 5 service aces and 2 blocks.
• Diego Pena totaled 24 assists and 12 digs in their match against Neumann. 
• Evan Cao totaled 22 assists against Saint Elizabeth. He also had one block.
• John Quinlan put up 3 big blocks in their match against Neumann.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Saints ruled the court in their match against the Knights. In a quick sweep, they claimed the victory 25-18, 25-20, and 25-12. Strong kills from Jonathan Pickering and Diego Pena and digs from libero, Will Wright aided the Saints to their win. 
• Against Saint Elizabeth, they also quickly claimed the win with scores 25-20, 25-17, and 25-12. In this match, notable plays included strong kills from Nickolas Blose and Gavin Poe, as well as service aces from Poe and Quinlan. 
• The Saints remain undefeated in their 2024 season with a record of 11-0, this is the best start in Men's Volleyball program history since its start in 2014.

•  Next Saturday, the Saints will hit the road again to play at Eastern Mennonite for their second conference match of the season. They will face EMU at 11 AM and Geneva College at 1 PM.
