ARLINGTON, VA - Marymount Men's Volleyball continue their winning streak with two more wins at home. On Saturday, they faced Roanoke College, their first conference match of the season, claiming victory in a tightly contested match with a final score of 3-2, and Immaculata University, in a quick match of 3-0.

- In their first match against Roanoke, Diego Peña led the team offensively with a total of 15 kills. He also contributed with 4 service aces.Â
- Luke Morris, Mason Moore, and Luke Pogue all had 3 blocks each.
- Defending the court for the Saints was Darvin Guan with 16 digs.
- Joseph Crowder totaled 29 assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Quickly taking the first two sets against the Maroons, the Saints had a 6 point consecutive run in the first set with kills from Will Wright and Devon Robinson and assists from Joe Crowder. The Saints secured the first two sets 25-16 and 25-22.Â
- The Maroons pushed back, taking the next two frames 26-24 and 25-23. Despite falling short in these two sets, notable plays included fierce kills from Will Wright and Luke Pogue. Defensive plays included great saves from Darvin Guan and Will Wright.
- Following the two wins from the Maroons, the match was pushed into five sets. The Saints started off strong with a 4 point lead and a kill from Mason Moore to secure the win 3-2, with a score of 15-10 in the decision setIn their second match against the Mighty Macs, the Saints gave some of their first years some court time. Notable plays included strong kills from Jonathan Pickering with assists from Carter Gresham and Evan Cao. Going point for point in the first frame, the Saints came out on top with a score of 25-22.
- Keeping it pushing in the second set, there were strong kills from Gavin Poe and Evan Cao to secure this frame with a strong lead, 25-21.
- With a similar outcome in the third set, John Quinlan and John Pickering defended the net by putting up big blocks as Will Wright and Darvin Guan defended the back row. They claimed their victory over the Mighty Macs with a final score of 25-14.Â
