ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount men's basketball moved forward in the Atlantic East Tournament with a defining win over Immaculata Wednesday evening, 73-51.
The Saints move to 18-8 overall on the season, heading to the Championship Round for the third season in a row inside of Converse Family Fieldhouse.
NOTABLE
- Marcus Beckett scored a game-high 18 points on the night, adding four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
- Marcus Stubbs put up 13 in the contest, going 5-8 from the field, with three assists and two blocks to his credit.
- Montell Cooper narrowly missed out on a double-double, scoring 12 points on 50% shooting from the floor with nine rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and four steals.
- Jack Bifano had 10 boards in the decisive win, adding six points and three assists.
- David King picked up seven points off of the bench, notching four rebounds, a block, and a steal.
- Isaac Harris and Wyatt Hockenberry each added five to the final tally, with Harris grabbing four boards, dishing three assists, while swatting a block and nabbing a steal.
- The Saints outscored the Mighty Macs 38-16 in the opening half to push strong momentum to the Marymount bench.
- As a team, MU shot 50% from the floor with 32 total points in the paint.
