ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Opening the season in a tournament setting with a new head coach, Marymount women's basketball fell to host Elizabethtown on Friday night, 79-45. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Blue Jays jumped ahead early and never allowed the Saints back into the game. 
• Ava Achtyl led the Saints with 12 points and went 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. 
• In just 16 minutes of action, Chandler Eddleton scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. 
• The Saints shot 31.0 percent from the field and 0-of-8 from beyond the arc. 

UP NEXT  

• Marymount will close out the Yonnie Kauffman Blue Jay Tournament against Widener tomorrow afternoon at 1 PM. 
• The Saints will have their home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 6 PM against Lynchburg.
