ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount women's basketball hosted the Hornets of Shenandoah University on Tuesday evening in Converse Family Fieldhouse, falling to the stout opponent 64-to-36.

With the loss, the Saints move to 1-4 on the season ahead of a weekend full of home basketball.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Ella Morrison posted a team-high 10 points alongside eight rebounds, just two boards shy of a double-double. She added an assist and a steal to her credit.
• Kaylah Barr had seven on the night with a pair of assists and steals.
• Ava Achtyl had six with two boards. 
• Off of the bench, Jaylah Thompson notched six points.
• Samantha Bulik, Kelly Ceroll, and Catie Kolwey each had points in the loss. 

UP NEXT

• Marymount will host a trio of squads this weekend for the annual Pablo Coto Tournament between Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23.
• They will begin play with Baruch on Friday with a 5 PM tip off.
• They will play in either the consolation or championship game the following day.
