SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Marymount men's basketball brings home the hardware from this weekend's Susquehanna Tournament, winning against the hosting River Hawks in the Tournament Final Saturday afternoon, 77-70.
With the win over the preseason Landmark Conference favorites, the Saints move to 3-1 on the year ahead of a big weekend of basketball in the Converse Family Fieldhouse.
NOTABLE
- Isaac Harris earned the Most Outstanding Player award after his performance across both days. In the Tournament Final, the junior dropped 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor, 4-5 from beyond the arc. He added seven rebounds to his credit.
- Marcus Stubbs earned All-Tournament Team after posting a game and team-high 23 points in the final, adding a pair of rebounds and assists.
- Joshua Hughes had nine points and three rebounds on Saturday.
- David King grabbed six boards off of the bench for the Saints, continuing his strong presence underneath the glass. He added four points.
- Miles Phillips dished out a team-high six assists on the afternoon.
- As a team, the Saints shot 50.9% from the floor.
UP NEXT
- Marymount will take a week off before coming back home for the annual Pablo Coto Tournament next weekend.
- They will tip off the weekend with Dickinson on Saturday, Nov. 1 PM before playing in the second round on Sunday.
