ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount women's volleyball will look to claim their third-straight Atlantic East Title this Saturday after taking down the Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy in the semifinals this evening, 3-0.

The Saints overpowered Gwynedd Mercy in the Semifinal round behind strong play from familiar faces.

NOTABLE

• Maya Harris continued to be the force for the Saints, knocking 14 kills with a .346 hitting percentage, adding six digs for 16.0 total points. The match was her fourth straight with double digit kills.
• Harper Wolf added 12 kills in the match, hitting at a .318 clip, alongside three digs and one block.
• Natalie Bialecki had 30 total assists in the decisive win while also notching seven digs and two blocks.
• Johanna Modica had six kills, two blocks, and two digs on the night. 
• Katee Stromberg put back three blocks with five kills.
• Elizabeth Stackpole added a pair of blocks with three kills and three digs.
• Eliza Freeman added six digs and four assists on the night with three service aces.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Saints moved out to a 15-to-7 lead in the first set behind a powerful kill from Wolf to continue building momentum early in the match.
• The Griffins put themselves within five before MU went on another tear, capped off by a kill from Stromberg, to go up 23-15.
• Back-to-back errors from Gwynedd Mercy finished off the first set and gave the Saints a 1-0 lead.
• It was back-and-forth to start the second set, but MU used a five-point run to go up 8-4.
• After a kill from Harris to get within three of winning set two, MU took advantage of Griffin errors to close it out and move to 2-0 on the night.
• Set three was all Marymount as one final kill from Wolf sealed the deal and sent the Saints back to the Championship.
