LANCASTER, PA - Marymount men's volleyball hit the road Wednesday evening to face Lancaster Bible College. In a quick match, the Saints claimed victory over the Chargers, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 26-24).

NOTABLE

• Mason Moore defended the net with a total of 8 blocks.
• Darvin Guan hit at a 1.00 clip. He also led the team defensively with a total of 12 digs. 
• Devon Robinson led the team offensively with 13 kills. Diego Peña was close behind with 11. 
• Joseph Crowder contributed with 26 assists.
• Will Wright had one service ace. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Starting off the match with a kill from Devon Robinson to claim the first point of the night. The Saints quickly gained a 7 point lead with notable kills from Diego Peña and Luke Pogue with assists coming from Joe Crowder. Ending the first set quickly 25-21.
• Keeping their motivation up going into the second set, the Saints went point-for-point with the Chargers with kills from Devon Robinson and Mason Moore to push the Saints ahead just enough to take the second frame from the Chargers with a score of 25-22.
• In a tightly contested third frame, Marymount had a 4 point consecutive run in the middle of the set with kills from Devon Robinson. The Chargers pushed back, tying the score 24-24. Just needing two more points to secure the win, a kill from Devon Robinson and an error from the Chargers did the job and the Saints took the match, 3-0 with a third frame score of 26-24.

UP NEXT

• The Saints remain undefeated, 6-0, going into Saturday's Conference tri match at home against Roanoke College at 1 PM and Immaculata University at 5 PM with a neutral match at 3 PM.
• Next Friday, the 10th, the Saints will play Thiel College at home at 7 PM.
• They will travel to Aston, Pa. on Saturday, the 10th to play Neumann University and Saint Elizabeth University at 11 AM and 1 PM, respectively.
