ARLINGTON -- Marymount women's basketball put together a complete game in a dominant 74-40 win over Marywood on Senior Day and Alumni Day on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marymount raced out to an 9-0 advantage and never looked back as led wire-to-wire.
- A 16-3 advantage after one quarter ballooned to a 36-10 lead at halftime.
- It was more of the same in the second half as a 56-26 lead after three quarters ended up in a 74-40 victory for the Saints.
- As a team, MU held Marywood to 32.6 percent from the field and 1-of-12 (8.3 percent) from beyond the arc.
- Marymount's defense forced 24 turnovers and held a 30-7 advantage in points off turnovers.
- Chandler Eddleton picked up a double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds) while Kyla Treadwell added 13 points, including 2-of-4 from long range.
- All five seniors (Eddleton, Treadwell, Terra Dzambo, Anna Schools, and Ally Vezendy) got the start for the Saints.
UP NEXT
- Marymount will play three straight road games beginning at Immaculata on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1 PM.
- The Saints will return to Converse to close out the regular season on Friday, Feb. 16 at 6 PM against Centenary.
