ARLINGTON, Va.- Marymount Women's Volleyball team faced Johns Hopkins on Wednesday night for their second home game of the season. After putting up a good fight, the Saints fell short to the Blue Jays in a 3-0 decision (25-21, 25-19, 25-20).Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Putting up a hard fight in the first frame, the Saints went point for point with the Blue Jays, keeping the score close throughout the entire set. Despite Kaitlyn Doyle's 8 kills, Johns Hopkins took the frame 25-21.
- A slow start in the second set, put the Saints in an 8 point deficit early on. Pushing back, Marymount was able to bring the deficit down to 5 points but could not finish. Johns Hopkins kept the lead and finished the set 25-19.
- Going into the third frame, the Blue Jays kept their momentum, putting them in a 10 point lead at 16-6. A couple kills by Maya Harris late in this set brought their scores as close as 5 points. Johns Hopkins secured the victory with a kill by Simrin Carlsen, ending the game 25-20.Â

- Marymount will travel to Gallaudet this weekend to attend the Worthington Classic where they will face four teams across Friday and Saturday.Â
