ARLINGTON -- Everything clicked on offense for Marymount men's soccer on Wednesday night as the Saints overcame an early deficit to top North Carolina Wesleyan convincingly, 4-1. 

NOTABLE

• Leonardo Torres added two more tallies to up his team-high goal total to five on the season. 
• Axel Gonzalez and Jonathan Guevara also found the back of the net. 
• Overall, there were 38 combined shots and 17 combined corner kicks in an offensive barn burner. 
• Bayron Banegas picked up three saves in net for the win. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• North Carolina Wesleyan found the back of the net first on a long-range shot in the 24th minute. 
• Marymount quickly responded with a PK goal from Gonzalez after a handball in the box. 
• Torres picked up a PK goal in the 37th minute after beating the last defender and getting dragged down in the box. 
• Marymount got some insurance in the 53rd minute after Alvaro Valdovinos sent a long ball down the sideline to Reece Ventura, who found Torres in front of the net for the finish. 
• The Saints picked up one more goal in the 87th minute after a great cross by Merlin Torres found Guevara alone in front of the net. At first, his shot appeared to be knocked away out of danger but the ball fluttered back in for a goal.
