WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Marymount women's soccer was held scoreless on Saturday afternoon despite a strong offensive effort, ultimately falling on the road, 3-0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Marymount came out really strong, firing off three shots on target over a 90-second span early in the first half that were all saved by Lycoming.
• The Saints outshot the Warriors 8-0 in the first 45 minutes but the teams entered halftime knotted at 0-0.
• Lycoming broke the tie just 21 seconds into the second half and added two more goals later on for the final 3-0 result.
• Layne Kaufman made two saves in the goal for the Saints.
• Both sides had one corner kick on the day.

UP NEXT

• The Saints have a quick turnaround as they will take on Penn College tomorrow afternoon at 1 PM.
• Marymount is in the middle of a five-game road trip and will return to Long Bridge Park on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 6 PM against Washington College.
