ARLINGTON, Va. – Finding itself trailing 4-1 at halftime to Immaculata on Wednesday evening, Marymount men's lacrosse responded by scoring nine of 10 goals in the second half to earn a 10-5 win and clinch the No. 3 seed in the Atlantic East Tournament.  

NOTABLE

• Marymount won 14-of-18 faceoffs on the night. 
• The Saints defense held Immaculata to 15-of-24 on clear attempts. 
• Will Strausbaugh and Mason Vandawater led the Saints with two goals apiece. 
• Jack Williams had one goal and three assists. 
• Chris Bochilo and Evan Motta led the Saints with two caused turnovers.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Immaculata scored two goals in the first three minutes and held a 3-0 lead after 15 minutes of action. 
• Strausbaugh finally got Marymount on the board with 12:55 left in the first half. 
• IU added another goal three minutes later and went into halftime with a 4-1 advantage. 
• Williams and Bryan Maguire got MU within one goal with tallies early in the third quarter. 
• After IU scored a man-up goal with 7:06 left in the third quarter, Marymount closed the game with seven unanswered goals, including three in a stretch of 2:08 in the fourth quarter to take control.

• Marymount will host Neumann in the first round of the Atlantic East Tournament on Saturday.
