GETTYSBURG, Va. - The Saints track & field program wrapped up their time at the Mason-Dixon Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Gettysburg College.
The program put up a solid showing over the meet, with the women taking a strong second-place finish.Â
Team Results
- The women's side finished in second out of 10 teams with a total of 60 points added up.
- The men notched a sixth place finish out of 11 total teams with 34 points.
Top Track Results
- Deziree Conklin-Boone picked up a second place finish in the women's 100m hurdle event (15.96).
- The women's 4x100m relay team of Destiny Noel, Conklin-Boone, Brooke Hamer, and Ariana Grant grabbed silver with a time of 51.71.
- Samuel Struggs showed well in the men's 100m dash, finishing fifth out of 26 total participants with a time of 11.88.
Top Field Results
- Samantha Healy continued her impressive season, winning both the hammer throw (52.12) and shot put (12.08m) events, respectively.
- Marcone Pessoa earned silver in the men's long jump event (6.23m).
