FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Marymount track & field program traveled just south to the Battleground Relays, hosted by the University of Mary Washington.
Some strong showings across both teams, with the women placing second out of 11 teams, made for a great day for the Saints.Â
Team Results
- The women side of the field placed second with a final scoring of 83 total points.
- The men placed ninth with 19 total points.Â
Individual Top Results
- Agnes Signou placed third in the women's 200 meter dash (26.68), and grabbed silver in the 400 meter (1:01.80).
- Brooke Hamer placed third in the women's 100m final hurdle event (16.21).
- Ariana Grant picked up a third-place finish in the women's 400 meter hurdle (1:14.96). She also notched a third-place spot in the pole vault at a 2.60m mark.
- Ella Morrison picked up a second-place spot in the women's high jump at 1.45m.
- Samatha Healy took the top spot in the women's shot put at a 11.98m mark, while also winning the hammer throw (45.11m).
- Dylan Vallade finished third in the men's high jump final (1.75m)
