ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount women's lacrosse took care of business over the visiting Centenary Cyclones on their senior day, 20-0.

The win marks the first Atlantic East victory of the season for the Saints, pushing them to 1-0, while improving their overall record to 8-4.

Notable

• The Saints celebrated their six seniors before the contest: Riley Love, Megan Edens, Sydney Clifford, Kaleigh Dunham, Elaina Hagen, and Kyndall Diamond, with them all combining for 16 total points on the day.
• Love notched three goals and two assists in the win.
• Edens scored three times, while adding an assist and a ground ball.
• Kyndall Diamond notched her first career goal in the contest.
• Arayla Garcia had 15 draw controls in the win, adding to her season total which now sits at 91, good for fifth in program history for a single season.
• Hagen had a goal and two assists, while causing three turnovers.
• Brooke Bretney, Lucy Brown, Kaylee Heath, Jillian Blair, and Taylor Chepren each scored off of the bench for the Saints. 

How It Happened

• The Saints exploded on the offensive end for the Saints to start the day in the first quarter, scoring 12 times unanswered, highlighted by three goals from the senior Love. 
• Peters, Blair, Chepren, and Heath each scored in the second quarter of play to continue the offensive momentum. 
• Marymount would score five more times in the final half of play to earn the decisive victory.

• Marymount will be back at home this upcoming Wednesday, taking on Gwynedd-Mercy in AEC action at 4 PM.
