How It Happened

- CU put the game within a run, then it was the Saints again battling, with Sodano and Kramp going back-to-back over the wall to put momentum back to the Marymount bench.Â
- The two teams continued to battle down the stretch, with the Saints erasing a four-run deficit to give themselves a chance in the bottom of the ninth.
- Ultimately, the Cardinals prevailed, plating two in the top of the 10th inning and holding the Saints off.Â
