WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Marymount baseball squad fell in a Sunday matchup to #2 Salisbury. 

With the loss, the Saints now sit at 9-7 overall on the season, with conference play looming ahead.

• Craig Sodano had two hits on the day, with a round-tripper in the fifth inning, the first of his career.
• Bryce Smith knocked a hit with two RBI.
• Ryo Fabre went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored. 
• Chad Singleton had a hit and an RBI. 

How It Happened

• The Sea Gulls scored in the first, fourth, and fifth innings to take a 3-0 early lead. 
• Sodano put a dent into the Salisbury lead in the bottom frame of the fifth with a solo shot. 
• Smith tied up the contest later in the bottom of the fifth with a two-RBI knock, scoring Bobby Leitzel and Ryan Cuadros.
• Singleton knocked in a lone run in the bottom of the ninth, but that was all the Saints could muster, ultimately dropping the affair.
