ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount women's lacrosse played their first game at Long Bridge Park on Wednesday evening, taking on the Knights of Arcadia. 

The Saints took down their opposition in decisive fashion, 18-to-6. 

Notable

• Sophomore Ella Baker had a career day for the Saints. Racking up six goals on as many shots, she set a new personal game high. 
• Riley Love put up three goals and an assist in the contest, collecting four total points. 
• Kaleigh Dunham put three in the net for the Saints. 
• Megan Edens had five ground balls and a caused turnover. 
• Emily Peters had a goal and five assists, facilitating the offensive effort for the Saints. 

How It Happened

• MU finished the first quarter of play with a slight 3-2 advanatage, with Baker sinking a goal in the final minute to push momentum to the Marymount bench. 
• The Saints outscored the Knights 8-to-2 in the second quarter of play to take a wide margin into the half. 
• It was all Marymount down the stretch, as they took care of the visiting Knights in the second half of play, earning the early season victory.
