ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Marymount men's lacrosse couldn't overcome a slow start on Wednesday night as the Saints fell to St. Mary's (Md.), 20-8.

NOTABLE

Gavin Taylorson led the Saints with three points (one goal, two assists).
Matthew Davis (four saves) and Jacob Brooks (three saves) split time in the net.
Cameron Glass and Ben Cooper led the Saints with five groundballs each.

HOW IT HAPPENED

St. Mary's scored the first three goals of the game before Jack Williams put MU on the board with a tally with 4:29 remaining in the first quarter.
Chris Bochilo's goal with 12:31 left in the second quarter brought the Saints within a 5-2 margin.
The Seahawks scored the next six goals to hold an 11-2 lead at halftime.
Marymount scored five goals in the third quarter but the deficit proved too much to overcome as St. Mary's finished on top, 20-8.

The Saints will return to Long Bridge Park to host Manhattanville on Saturday, March 4 at 3 PM.
