FREDERICK, Md. - Marymount baseball hit the road to Hood College on Wednesday, taking on the Blazers in non-conference action.
Behind strong pitching and timely hitting, the Saints won 4-3, moving to 4-2 on the season.

- Ryo Fabre went 2-of-4 on the night, knocking in an RBI.
- Jimmy Baker knocked two hits with a double and a run.
- Ryan Maylie was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.
- Dylan Heil put up a strong start on the mound, going 5.0 innings with four strikeouts, allowing just one earned run on four hits.

How It Happened
- Hood got on the board first in the bottom of the second, but the Saints clawed back quickly, evening up the tally in the top of the fourth via a passed ball, scoring Baker.
- Marymount took a 2-1 lead in the same inning.
- Fabre knocked an RBI single in the top of the sixth to extend their lead to 3-1.
- Hood evened up the score in the bottom of the ninth to send the game into extras, but the Saints battled and pushed across a run in the top of the tenth with a Chad Singleton single. The Saints threw up a zero in the bottom of the tenth to take the win.
