ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount women's basketball held Centenary to eight second-half points in a convincing 85-29 win on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Saints improved to 8-1 in conference play and still sit in first place in the standings.
NOTABLE
- Terra Dzambo matched a career-high with six three-pointers on the day. She scored 23 points in just 19 minutes, her highest scoring output since putting up 35 against Washington & Lee on Dec. 29, 2022.
- Chandler Eddleton had 16 points on 8-of-11 from the field. She added five steals on the defensive end.
- Grace Damato scored a career-high eight points in 25 minutes off the bench.
- Marymount was a perfect 13-of-13 from the free-throw line.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spurred by back-to-back triples from Dzambo to open the game, Marymount rattled off an 8-0 run in the first 1:02 of the game to set the tone.
- Marymount continued to build a lead through the first quarter and led 25-16 with 7:28 remaining in the first half.
- A 20-5 run to close the half gave Marymount a 45-21 lead at the break.
- The second half saw Marymount's reserves see most of the action as the Saints outscored the Cyclones, 40-8, in the final 20 minutes to win by an 85-29 final score.

- Marymount will play at Neumann on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 6 PM.
- The Saints will have one more road game at Marywood on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 PM before closing the regular season at home against Immaculata on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1 PM.
