STEVENSON, Md. – Marymount men's volleyball needed five sets to prevail on Wednesday night against Stevenson. The Saints improved to 11-4 with the win.

NOTABLE

• Marymount was led by Diego Pena (16 kills), Devon Robinson (14 kills), and Hayden Kerekes (13 kills) on the attack.
• Grayson Andrews paced the attack with 43 assists.
• Andrews, Will Wright, and Esteban Jauregui all contributed 13 digs on the defensive end. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Despite outhitting Stevenson in the first set .316 to .194, Marymount surrendered six of the final seven points to fall, 26-24.
• In the second set, Stevenson jumped out to a 19-11 lead, but the Saints responded with a strong 11-2 run en route to a 25-23 victory.
• The Saints continued that momentum with a dominant 25-12 victory in the third set.
• Stevenson evened the match at two sets apiece with a 25-19 win in the fourth set.
• Marymount started the final set strong and never looked back, pulling away to ice the win 15-7.

UP NEXT

• Marymount will return to Converse Family Fieldhouse for a Friday night match against Lancaster Bible College.
• First serve is set for 7 PM against the Chargers.
