MECHANICSBURG, PA--Marymount women's volleyball played Messiah University on the road Friday night for their last match of the regular season. In a tightly contested match that went to 5 sets, the Saints ultimately fell short in a 3-2 decision (23-25, 25-15, 18-25, 25-22, 10-15).Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- With notable kills from Kaitlyn Doyle and Myia Jeter, the Saints fell just short in the first frame 25-23.
- Fighting hard in the second set, the Saints went on an 8 point consecutive run with 4 service aces from Alexis Franklin. They took the set with a large lead, 25-15.
- Splitting the next two sets, the match was forced into a 5th decision set. Despite 3 service aces and a kill by Myia Jeter, the Saints ultimately fell short to the Falcons, 15-10 with a 3-2 decision to close out the regular season for the Saints.Â
