RADNOR, Pa. - To start off Atlantic East play, the Marymount men's basketball team kept a commanding lead throughout against the Cavaliers of Cabrini, ultimately taking the contest by a final score of 68-56.
With the win, the Saints begin AEC contention 1-0, improving to 5-8 overall on the season.

- Wyatt Hockenberry had a career night for the Saints, dropping a career and game high 28 points, adding five rebounds and three assists.
- Marcus Stubbs had 16 points on the night for Marymount, going 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. He added five rebounds.
- Peja Boyd had 10 off of the bench, giving them depth in the strong conference win.

How It Happened
- Hockenberry sparked the offense for the game, draining a three within the third minute of play to give the Saints an early lead.
- Stubbs drained his first three of the night to give Marymount a six-point lead in the still early stages of the game.
- A three from Hockenberry, followed by a good jumper inside the arc from Boyd, gave Marymount a solid lead heading into the half at 38-to-25.
- After a fast-break score from Ra'Shawn Cook, Stubbs put up another significant three at the 11:50 mark to keep momentum on MU's side.
- Despite Cabrini outscoring the Saints in the second half, Marymount came away with the strong conference win on the back of strong offensive and defensive showings.
