FAIRFAX, Va. - The Saints track & field program continued their start to the season with a second-straight indoor meet at George Mason on Saturday.Â
Among a variety of Division I opponents, Marymount fared well on the day, taking home some strong finishes.Â
Field Results
- Samantha Healy notched a fourth place finish in the women's weight throw (15.56m) in a field of primarily Division I participants.Â
- Healy came in ninth out of 24 participants in the finals of the women's shot put (11.09m), with Jada Noel right behind at 10th (10.20m).
- Marcone Pessoa placed seventh in the men's long jump (5.61m).
Track Results
- Cole Valente had a strong showing in the men's 400m, coming in 18th in a strong field of competitors (55.01).
- Deziree Conklin-Boone showed well in the women's 60m hurdles (9.54).
- Avery Finnegan competed in the women's mile run, showing strong at 5:35.53.
