ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount women's basketball used a total team effort to top Marywood on Saturday afternoon, 59-46. The Saints improved to 5-1 in conference play with the victory.    

NOTABLE

• All 15 Saints saw game action with 10 scoring points.
• Chandler Eddleton scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He also added two blocks.
• Symantha Shackelford and Terra Dzambo both drained three 3-pointers. Shackelford added a team-high eight rebounds. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Marymount led by as many as 15 points in an impressive first quarter of action.
• The Saints kept up the pace in the second quarter and entered halftime with a 40-21 lead.
• The third quarter saw Marywood make a little bit of a comeback, cutting the deficit to 11 points before Dzambo drained a triple with two seconds left to give MU a 48-34 lead heading into the final frame.
• Marymount kept the Pacers at bay in the fourth quarter and picked up an impressive 59-46 victory.
