NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Marymount men's basketball team took on the Captains of Christopher Newport on Sunday afternoon, looking to build off their road win in their last matchup.

The #1 Captains (9-0) overcame the Saints (4-6) in the contest by a final score of 81-66. 

Notable

• Wyatt Hockenberry dropped 15 on the day, leading the offense for the Saint. He was 2-for-4 from beyond the arc.
• Marcus Stubbs put up 14 points for MU, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe.
• Miles Phillips had 13 from the bench for the Saints, going 3-for-4 from the field in the contest. 
• Ra'Shawn Cook led the Saints on the glass, grabbing eight rebounds. The graduate student also added nine points and two assists.
